LATEST NEWS: Crime Pays for Community Projects
Cash recovered from crooks is paying for a new youth shelter at Kingsway Recreation Ground in Luton. The funding was made available through the Government’s recently launched Community Cashback scheme, where ‘cashback’ from criminals’ seized assets, e.g. confiscated cash or property, is used to pay for worthwhile community projects. The scheme was launched last July and since then has financed 5 local initiatives. Click here for more details or download the press release.
